Stockpulse provides unique information to investors: The emotional value of asset allocation.
Emotional Data Intelligence
Stockpulse’s Emotional Data Intelligence is the next level of comprehending and processing alternative data. With the expertise of more than ten years in data science and data analytics, we provide you with first-class solutions for your customized product design.
History of Company
The core idea of Stockpulse results from extensive research of the two co-founders Jonas and Stefan related to their Master and PhD studies at the University of Cologne and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). During their work, Jonas and Stefan developed an in-depth comprehension of the potential of Emotional Data Intelligence for financial markets. Parts of their research have been published on international meetings and seminars, globally well-known conferences, and various books.
At that time, in 2010 and 2011, however, emotional data analysis and big data were uncommonly known, and no market existed. Market participants did not yet see the value of the data for the financial industry.
Throughout the years, as social media progressed to over three billion users in 2020, Stefan and Jonas have been convinced Emotional Data Intelligence would prevail. Being pioneers and trailblazers at one stage, Stockpulse has become an essential player for the financial industry. Whether it’s some banks or hedge funds, Private Equity, Venture Capital or Family Office, Portfolio Managers or Insurance Companies, Publishing Houses or Stock Exchanges, and Institutional Supervising Agencies. All rely upon Emotional Data Intelligence today.
Taking a look into the future, Emotional Data Intelligence is on its way to spread around responsible ESG wealth management and private and public pension funds complying with good governance.
By 2023, the estimated number of online social media participants is crossing 4bn daily active users and remains one of the fastest-growing market segments worldwide. The daily squawk volume will become even more critical to those who manage wealth successfully, and by the way, Stockpulse’s first message collectors are running 24/7 since 2010 without a stop!

Voices of Clients and Partners
I have known Stockpulse for a long time and have been accompanying the development of Jonas and Stefan, the two founders, for more than 10 years. Stockpulse makes real pioneering work in the field of sentiment analysis for financial markets. Our scientific cooperation is still very close. I am particularly pleased that Stefan’s successful Ph.D. gives us great confirmation of our joint research work.

A high-tech company like Stockpulse would actually be located in Silicon Valley. However, the company has always had its roots and headquarters in Germany. It convinced from the start with original German properties, which one sometimes looks with a little jealousy from the valley: rock solid, reliable, inventive and always open to experiments in new business areas such as in Big Data technologies.
